About me
Hello! I’m Lauren, a Staff Product Designer focused on building thoughtful design solutions that help businesses grow.
I specialize in shaping strategy and design for conversion-driven experiences, while elevating design quality across multi-team ecosystems.
I currently lead design for the top-of-funnel experience at Thrivent, partnering with product, engineering, research, and analytics to define direction, reduce friction, and deliver accessible, user-centered solutions. My strength is navigating ambiguity; breaking down messy problems, aligning partners, and turning uncertainty into clear, actionable design.

Across roles, I’ve become known as a thoughtful, collaborative partner who can zoom out to define strategy, zoom in to refine details, and guide teams toward clarity. My work has improved conversion across key product flows, strengthened and scaled design systems across multiple teams, reduced friction in customer decision-making, and built tighter alignment between product, design, and engineering.
My Background
I started in print design and advertising, giving me a deep appreciation for strong design strategy and craft excellence
After spending several years as a visual designer, I moved into product design eight years ago. That grounding in craft and identity shapes how I think about every product surface today—from hierarchy and typography to narrative and flow.
I hold a BFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University and a UX certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group. I’m rooted in Cleveland, Ohio, and happiest with a good book, a yoga mat, riding my bike, or a trail nearby. Nothing resets me quite like a walk outside or a good yoga class.
